They told us the case was very straightforward and that it would cost $2,000 to open the case, but that if we signed the paperwork right then and there, they had a special rate of $1,000.\n\nWe opened the case, and after three months, they called us to come to their office. It turns out the lawyer handling the case is in California, and we only spoke to him on the phone, only for him to tell us that nothing could be done.\n\nWhat I don't understand is why the assistant told us the case was so easy and why we had taken so long to open it.\n\nHe also mentioned that they take all the cases.
