I suffered injuries, and my Jeep took a huge hit! Yes, the insurance carrier was being very unreasonable, but filing a lawsuit became necessary just to get them to fairly review your case.  It isn't fair to the injured party that  insurance companies pay their staff adjusters to essentially force the injured folks to have to file a lawsuit just to get a fair offer.  And then, the staff attorneys for the insurance carrier force you to spend time and dollars in litigation, when for the insurance company it is a just a cost of doing business.
