Mr. Porter caught our eye since he had a good review from a judge.\n\nIt was even more difficult since my sister had just died which precipitated me taking over my mother's estate as well as executing my sister's.\n\nAfter speaking to him and two other probate lawyers, we chose Mr. Porter.\n\nIt was a great decision. Mr. Porter is very efficient, very clear on time lines and explains things very clearly when asked. He made great use of email and billed for these emails extremely fairly. He was very supportive during this very difficult time. He prioritized necessary actions, e.g., placing the notice to creditors as soon as he could.\n\nHis assistant, Deanne, is also awesome. She would return emails and phone calls very quickly. She would also answer any questions she could. If she couldn't answer them, she'd get the answers and respond in a timely manner.
