It is not unusual for beneficiaries to move and, frankly, forget to advise us of their new address.  Clearly, communication is a two-way street.  Further, it is not unusual for an Estate to discover additional assets that were not previously known or that the Executor did not want to delay disbursement of the bulk of the Estate while a few minor additions were pending.  Most clients are pleased to receive additional funds.<br><br>We take our responsibility very seriously and to hear that a beneficiary was made “uncomfortable” bothers me greatly.
