Anyway, one of the attorney's is representing one of my grandsons. During the meet and confer, he attacked my character as a parent of my 35 year old son. He asked me why isn't my son involved, I asked if he had spoken to him and he said he did...then why are you asking me why isn't he doing his part and telling me that you don't want his excuses and that I am an apologist for him? Well, in this short time the firm has been on the case, it is clear that the attorney doesn't know half of what he is talking about. This attorney was listening to the person I have a petition against and the ten year old child that is clearly not telling the truth. Furthermore, he put on a pedestal, a parent that smokes weed, curses out her children, belittles them, had to be told not to spank the one who is on the spectrum for peeing in the bed and has had numerous cps cases (really?). Had I not warned her about the cps case filed, not even against her own children, she would've been caught off guard and then this attorney would've been able to see the real person behind the mask. The attorney and the rest of the incompetent people handling the children's case did not do a thorough job in gathering records and talking to people in other professions that have had interactions with them. I just hope and pray for the children's sake that their mental health is not going to be damaged because as usual, people who aren't truly invested in their lives dropped the ball. The attorney and government officials are relying on a forensic interview conducted after the ten year old had been influenced by the parent to lie on me and my husband. Now relationships are being affected because, I am never going to be receptive of a child not being able to tell their truth and allow for a real investigation to be conducted based on what appears to be that child's truth. This mess stemmed from the mother not wanting to get her children counseling and not wanting to take classes with me and my husband on how to raise a child on the spectrum (he is a good loving child) and she is missing out on a lot right now because of her selfishness. We are in the middle of a child custody case, the judge in our case assigned this law firm to represent this kids to receive an unbiased representation. The only response we have received was a request for child report cards, immediately emailed to them as requested. They had a third party investigator reach out to us to schedule and interview as they are from out of state. Needless to say the investigator did not call during the scheduled time. We are a couple of weeks now out from the hearing, and sitting in the dark. This law firm is an absolute joke, an absolute waste of tax payer dollars and should have their license to practice revoked. After everything was said and done with me talking about how bad I wanted my babies back, the gentlemen said to wait for a zoom call from their law firm so they can see my house was fit for my children’s living. Weeks went by and nothing. I kept calling and received no response. I left 4 voicemails for someone to call me back and nothing!!! We go to the court date and they said they visited the house my children were staying at and all was good. They never even contacted me about investigating my house to see how well I have it set up fit my children to live in. They just automatically sided with the paternal grandmother. So unfair, unprofessional, and straight up sickening! I am an amazing parent and haven’t been able to get my babies back because these idiots, “so called” attorneys are lazy and didn’t even give me my day in court. Horrible! I would not recommend them at all! I’m calling the Better Business Bureau and reporting them.
