Initially, communication was prompt and professional. However, after retaining him, communication declined significantly. Many of my calls went unanswered for weeks or months at a time, and I was often routed to an answering service until others intervened on my behalf to reach him. I contacted the Grievance Committee regarding these concerns and also because I received multiple late-night emails from Mr. Brill threatening to sue me for defamation after I wrote an honest review of my experience and provided supporting documentation. The Grievance Committee was made aware of the situation along with screenshots and other necessary documentation.\n\nOverall, my main concern was the lack of consistent communication and the fact that the services I retained him for were not delivered as agreed. I never received any proof of correspondence between Mr. Brill and other parties advocating on my behalf, furthering negative press and inaccurate information, to which he was retained between 2022 to present.\n\nMy review is solely based on my personal experience. Natalie Black was the subject of the following article in the New York Post: \"Probe finds NYC teachers sent raunchy **xts, **xually preyed on students\" because the following misconduct was substantiated against her by the New York City Department of Education Special Commissioner of Investigation:<br><br>\"Natalie Black, 27, a teacher at Hillside Arts and Letters Academy in Queens, sent at least 15 raunchy snaps of herself to a 17-year-old male student beginning in late 2021. The boy was interviewed by the NYPD, but no charges were filed.<br><br>By March 2022, Black’s bad behavior escalated: she showed male students photos of her va****, pulled down her pants in a student’s home and told him to “eat my a**,” and sent kids videos of herself “deep thr***ing” a liquor bottle and dancing n***d from the waist down.<br><br>Black refused to cooperate with SCI investigators. She was “removed from DOE service” while the probe was ongoing, the report noted.<br><br>The SCI report recommended that Black be permanently removed from the DOE workforce, “given her total unfitness as a pedagogue.”<br><br>https://nypost.com/2022/10/08/female-nyc-teachers-were-equal-opportunity-predators-probe/<br><br>Ms. Black believed that she should be provided with services without paying for them. This all happened over a year ago when he was deep into his addiction.  Attorney Brill actually knew the prosecutor who was handling the case and he was able to make contact with them very early on in the process.  He also knew the lead investigator who deals with major armed robberies in Nassau.  My friend really did fall off of the deep end, and he got himself into a huge mess.  Everyone is thankful that Peter was able to make some concessions with the prosecutor since there were no previous convictions.  What saved him was that I did not use a real gun during the commission of the robberies.  After nearly 18 months and several delays my friend ended-up being convicted of just a single conviction with a suspended sentence and probation.
