The only positive is that they were able to get bail reduced to an affordable amount. I invested over $8,000 into fees mainly just to keep getting continuations and kicking the can down the road so Bolton could have more time to review. After $8,000 spent, I was informed the lawyer assigned would be leaving to become a public defender and I would have to find a new lawyer. At this point my bank account was negative so had to go the public defender route.
