I was told that they really help tenants. I got there and turned in everything and they said because I didn’t respond it’s possible that the Sherriff may come out using scare tactics! At first they said I could pay on the retainer and then they said I have to pay in full. They were advocating more for the landlord than the tenant. I have disabled people and mental disabled under my care and I explain that to the landlord and to Basta nobody cared the lady in the front office was nice then really rude and then nice again. So please you all can go there but I wouldn’t recommend. I explained our case to her regarding the “Notice to Vacate” from the sheriff’s office and she said she couldn’t do anything for us anymore and that no lawyer would talk to us “paying or not paying” because it is to late to do anything at this point and time. I don’t recommend this “Basta” place as they didn’t even take the time to explain to us anything.
