I am sure there are more qualified people in this field that can do more for 70k that was spent. Beware and do your diligence this is not a firm to fight for your best interest but rather a firm to send constant bills. They charge certified family law specialist rates, yet the majority of the work is outsourced to inexperienced first-year associates who routinely botch essential legal tasks. Despite their inexperience, the firm continues to bill as if the acting partner is personally handling every detail—an insult to any client expecting real legal representation.\n\nThe acting partner is a controlling presence, micromanaging where it doesn’t help and delegating critical matters to the least qualified staff. Their strategic decisions—or lack thereof—have consistently caused delays, confusion, and harm to my case.\n\nMost egregiously, in the middle of an urgent crisis involving my personal safety and the well-being of my child, the managing partner refused to assist me unless I paid more money immediately. I was effectively strong-armed at a time of extreme vulnerability. Worse, because he was still officially listed as my attorney of record, I was legally prevented from filing anything on my own to protect my child. We successfully opposed this request.  <br>The client requested a set aside of a Judgment of divorce she purported agreed to.<br>We filed a motion that was so compelling that the other side agreed in Court that we should win. Client won the issue.<br>We defended client against her spouse’s request for a Restraining Order against her. Spouse's request was denied. Client won that issue.<br>We represented client in obtaining a Restraining Order against her spouse. Her request was granted. Client won that issue.<br>We requested prevailing party fees in obtaining the Restraining Order. The Judge Ordered opposing party to pay $7,000.00 towards her fees. Client won that issue.<br>We successfully defended against opposing party's request for motion for reconsideration or set aside of the Restraining Order against you.  At the hearing, he argued both Orders regarding the requested restraining Orders be reconsidered or set aside. He also asked for a custody modification.  All of his requests were denied. Client won that issue.<br>Opposing party filed a Declaration asking for a custody modification based on new facts prior to the last hearing. The Court did not consider this. Client she won that issue.<br>On January 17, 2025, opposing party filed an ex parte request which requested, among other things, that he have sole legal and sole physical custody of the minor child. The requests were denied and set for hearing.
