That’s what my case was left on… $2,000 for absolutely nothing. I hired Amy to represent me for my divorce and had to fire her, as she’s been nothing but useless. We are 8 months into my divorce with no children and minimal assets, thousands of dollars into paying her, and I’ve only spoken to her directly a couple of times. When I call she’s never available to talk. She let my ex spend months waiting to fill out discovery forms, and told me if I wanted to file a motion to compel him, then I’d need to pay my full balance despite having a payment plan and out another 1K down. We are no closer to being divorced and I’ve spent over 5K at this point.
