I received a very small settlement and afterwards a bill from Medicare saying I owed them $2,700 and wanted to be reimbursed for medical expenses related to the accident. But $1000 of the expenses they charged me for was not a part of the accident,\n\nWhen I protested they said \"Too Late\" your attorney was to file before dispersing money to me, and he never did. This incompetence of never filing to verify medical payment to be reimbursed to medicare, allowed Medicare to over billed me by over $1000 for medical expenses that weren't related to the accident.\n\nWhen I called Paul's office with the collection agency on the phone, they faxed his office all the paperwork. He said he would look into it.
