After having almost all our money stolen by former trustee, Upper Street Marketing CEO and de-licensed financial advisor John D. Quinn, we sought to have John removed from the trust. Larry told us it would be a very simple process and all we had to do was send a letter to him and assign a new trustee. He did not honestly evaluate our case and failed to inform us that we did not have sufficient funds for fiduciary expenses and this would be a much more complicated process than writing a letter. When it became evident that we could not afford to assign a new trustee and this was a hopeless situation and we were stuck with this con-man of a trustee who would eventually take our house and the remaining cash in our bank accounts, Larry terminated his services and kept the money we paid him. He claimed it would be \"malpractice\" to have been honest and told us in the beginning that our case was hopeless.  Our experience with this attorney has only compounded the devastation we have experienced with the financial abuse by the trustee. I will also add that Larry did not do anything on my behalf and I made all phone calls, drafted all documents and did all research. Otherwise, most of what is stated above is misrepresented.  In fact, this review was likely not even written by Shoko, but by a family member who (rather deceitfully) claimed to be Shoko in numerous communications with this office and others.<br><br>In any event, as said above, help was sought for a bad situation, and when we tried to help -- including working with trusted agents of theirs, working with the local Regional Center, assisting with reports to proper civil authorities, and seeking out and obtaining the opinions of numerous independent private fiduciaries -- we were unfortunately unable to effectuate any change.  Although this was due to factors far out of our control, the client was angry that we didn't foresee this result, and as she said above, we should have told them at the beginning that it was \"hopeless\" and shouldn't have even tried to help.  We do not operate that way – they sought help, and we tried fervently to provide it - we did not believe the situation was \"hopeless\" at all and attempted several routes to address it.  However, we cannot know going into a matter what will happen and we can never guarantee any particular result. AJALAT| AJALAT & AJALAT, LLP (AKA Larry) to complete our Living Trust.  I was referred to Larry by my first cousin who is an attorney.  We had procrastinated on setting up our living trust.  Some of the main reasons were, not knowing who to use and trust.  The cost that attorneys and companies were charging.  The amount of time and paperwork to complete the trust.  All that went away with one call to Ajalat & Ajalat.  Larry was knowledgeable, professional, affordable and efficient.  Also a very good person.
