I recently recounted the experience with my second therapist, who—like me—was alarmed by how Aguwa handled the process and how much worse my mental health had become after working with him. My experience with him has only deepened my mistrust in this country's family court system.\n\nI found Mr. Aguwa to be extremely dismissive, condescending, and unfit for trauma-sensitive cases. I left his office so shaken by his ridicule and belittling of me that my close friend was concerned about my condition afterward, and still recalls that visit as one of the lowest points of my legal process. After a loss in court, Aguwa dropped me as a client, further twisting the knife.\n\nThis man may have 5 stars, but I cannot in good conscience allow that to stand unchallenged. If he is a family man, a man of faith, or a man of the law, as he presents, I saw no evidence of such in how I was treated.
