From the beginning, I made it clear that I would not accept any plea deal and that my goal was dismissal or trial based on the evidence.\n\nDespite that, the firm communicated a defensive driving/plea-type resolution to the court without my knowledge or consent, directly contradicting my explicit instructions. I was also kept out of the loop for extended periods and had to do my own follow-up to confirm what was happening in my case.\n\nThe most frustrating part is that the case was ultimately dismissed — meaning this firm attempted to push me into pleading to something that was later thrown out entirely.
